Welcome to My Garden: Faith Through the Seasons

Have you ever wondered if there was more to the seasons of life?

More to the harsh, cold winters, the muddy springs, the sunny summers, and the harvest-filled falls?

Have you ever wondered if there was more to the seasons within your faith? More behind the seasons that leave you longing for the next one to arrive?

What if these seasons were divinely placed before us, each one designed to cultivate, strengthen, and grow our faith until we are ready to bloom into the unique beauty God created us to be?

There have been moments in my life when I have felt the relentless rain of spring beating down on me.

I have experienced the warmth and abundance of summer, the preparation and labor of fall, and winters that seemed to last for months, sometimes even years.

There were seasons marked by deep, difficult work. Seasons where I questioned whether there was any purpose in the highs and lows. Seasons where I desperately wanted to know that something greater was happening beneath the surface, that something was being cultivated, something was growing, something was preparing to bloom.

And that is why I want to welcome you to my garden.

This is a place where I have witnessed the ebb and flow of growth and cultivation. A place where I discovered that the changing seasons of our faith do indeed have meaning. Every season serves a purpose. Every season is necessary.

Just as a garden requires each season to flourish, our faith requires seasons of planting, waiting, pruning, growing, and harvesting. Through them, God cultivates the beauty He uniquely created each of us to bring into the world.

For us to bloom, we must first walk through the seasons. We must endure the cultivating, the stretching, and the labor that growth requires.

So, dear friend, if you find yourself in a rainy season, a dry and difficult season, or perhaps a spring season where some days are filled with sunshine and others with storms, I want to encourage you:

You are not stuck.

You are being cultivated.

God is growing your faith so that, in His perfect timing, you can bloom the beauty you were created to bloom, a beauty not meant to be kept for yourself, but one that brings life, hope, and His love into the world.

Your season has purpose. Your growth has meaning. And your bloom is coming.

Your Friend,

Kylie
